What happened in Chapter 3

Kavan the Kid has one word for this episode. Tragic. The Nightmare Below picks up right where Chapter 2 left off. The Collector returns to his burned-down cabin, ready for revenge after Desmond Mordane and the Blind Witch captured his wife. From there, the story splits across two more threads: the Middle Realm, where Robin Hood continues to train Jackal; and Dead Man’s Bay, where Captain Hook meets an unexpected guest — the infamous Captain Nemo. A lot happens in a short amount of time. It’s Kavan’s favorite episode yet. You’ll see why.

How Kavan built this one

The most demanding scene was Hook and Anne’s conversation on a moving ship — cutting between over-the-shoulder angles while maintaining the ship’s direction and every set detail across each cut. Every cut is a test — if the ship shifts direction, if a prop moves, if the light changes, the illusion breaks. That’s where you direct with intention.

Kavan split the workload between two tools: Nano Banana 2 for all locations and character reference sheets, and Seedance 2.0 for all video generation. For group shots, Kavan used a blocking reference prompt — a reference image to set character placement and spatial logic, with Seedance prompted to treat it purely as a placement guide. It kept scenes intact across cuts, even with a full cast in frame.

Music was another frontier in this episode. Getting the score to hit specific beats at exactly the right moments took serious prompt engineering. Kavan developed a new process for timing and generation, treating music prompts the way a director would brief a composer. His takeaway: “Treat your music prompts like a director’s cue sheet.”

The Nightmare Below is Kavan’s most ambitious episode yet. With more characters, more threads, and more ground covered. Kavan keeps raising his own bar, one frame at a time, with Magnific.

The episode opens on the Collector at rest, for once. His wife is back. He’s playing guitar. A hummingbird drifts nearby. But in Chronicles of Bone, happiness never lasts long.

Varek’s plan advances on two fronts: Desmond Mordane and Greyson Borcar enter the Dead Realm under his orders, where Desmond crosses paths with an old ally who’s no longer on his side: the Blind Witch. Elsewhere, Arthur and Guinevere begin executing what comes after Blackmere, until Merlin arrives with a warning that changes the calculus.

Kavan summed the whole episode up in four words:

“Love is a powerful force.”

The scene that took the longest to get right wasn’t a confrontation or a fight sequence. It was the opening. The Collector, a guitar, a hummingbird. Details that read as effortless on screen and required the most iterations to earn.

“It took many generations and changing prompts to get him to play the guitar the way I wanted, and to get the hummingbird to fly more naturally.”

Seedance 2.0 was the constant across the whole episode, but this chapter pushed the tool into new territory: plugging a finished shot back in and asking Seedance to change one element while keeping everything else locked. A refinement pass, not a full regeneration.

“Being able to edit and change AI shots to improve them was a huge game-changer for small fixes.”

There’s one downside worth noting: tweaking with Seedance 2.0 can slightly soften the audio. His workaround is to keep the audio from the previous take and swap only the visuals. One more part of the process that gets faster with every chapter, and a trick for you to try and use.

Watch episode

What happens in Chapter One

Vorin Mordane is buried. Arthur holds the Southern Realm. And Varek, in mourning, is already plotting his revenge.

The chapter alternates between two main storylines. At Mordane castle, Varek begins moving his pieces, revealing a secret weapon he intends to capture and use. Meanwhile, on the road, The Last Lost Boy has finally reunited with a beloved fairy, who’s just learned that Peter Pan is dead and does not take it quietly. A run-in with Mordane Ravagers turns into the episode’s defining sequence. Kavan put it plainly:

“She is one of the most powerful beings in all the realms, and we get to see that on full display here.”

How Kavan built this one

Season 1 runs primarily on two tools: Nano 2 for images and Seedance 2.0 for video. Every frame of Chapter One came from both.

Contrary to what you might believe, the scene that gave him the most trouble in this episode wasn’t the fight. It was the Mordane chamber: a long dialogue sequence where the room, the characters, and the emotion all have to hold together without a single continuity break.

“These scenes always seem harder than action. If something slips, the audience stops listening to the characters.”

The thing he’s carrying into Chapter Two: a new approach to maintaining consistent voices in Seedance that changed how the whole production moves forward. He broke it down in one of our Inspiring Sessions that dropped alongside this episode. Don’t miss it if you want to get the full insight into Kavan’s workflow.

A dark fantasy series where legends like Robin Hood, King Arthur, and Peter Pan collide in a ruthless, mythical world where the consequences are permanent.

The latest chapter, and last prologue, The Chosen Knight, is out now. And it’s worth the wait.

What happens in The Chosen Knight

For five centuries, the Mordane empire has ruled unchallenged. In Prologue: Part Six, King Arthur leads his knights on a covert assault against Vorin Mordane, the youngest brother of King Varek, in an attempt to take control of the southern realm. The stakes have never been higher. In Kavan’s own words:

“The stage is set for Season 1. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but this episode really launches us into what’s coming. I can’t wait for everyone to see the battle with the mysterious Shadow Knight.”

How Kavan builds an episode

What makes The Chronicles of Bone remarkable isn’t just what ends up on screen, it’s how it gets there. Kavan’s process starts long before any AI tool is opened.

Every character begins as a physical build. Kavan assembles what he calls the “cheap version” — a practical costume he photographs in real life, then brings into Magnific to iterate until the character reaches its final cinematic form.

Once the characters are locked, he designs each environment inside Magnific to match the emotional tone of the script. Google Nano Banana 2 plays a central role here.

“It sets the entire base structure for every episode. Using it inside Magnific gives me a level of control I haven’t found anywhere else.”

From there, he generates, animates, and edits simultaneously, cutting 30 to 40 seconds of near-final footage before moving forward to keep the pacing cinematic rather than assembled.

“Sometimes what seems like the simpler scenes are the hardest ones to get right.”

The result? A new chapter every month. Fast, but deliberate.

Creating AI short films is exciting, right up until you start stitching your scenes together. Suddenly the hair’s different, the jacket changes color, or something just looks off. It’s one of the most common headaches in AI filmmaking, and it can wreck the flow of an otherwise great story. Reference sheets fix that by giving the AI a full picture of your character from every angle. And with this Spaces template, the process becomes smooth and easy to repeat.

Travis Davids brings over 15 years of visual arts experience to the table, spanning 2D, 3D, and now AI filmmaking. As a Magnific AI Partner, he built this workflow around a technique that’s become a cornerstone of his own creative process. His aim? Make consistent AI storytelling something anyone can pull off, no matter if you’ve been at this for years or you’re just getting your feet wet.

Consistent AI filmmaking with Spaces

Think of reference sheets as a character bible for your AI videos. They show your character from multiple angles so the AI always knows exactly what it’s rendering. A tight close-up, a wide full-body shot, a completely different location,… Doesn’t matter. Your character stays on-model no matter what.

This template packages everything into a single workflow. You feed in your inputs and you walk out with a cinematic video scene. Here’s how it breaks down:

Upload your character and item inputs. Pull from your gallery or from AI creations you’ve already made. Outfit references help nail down specifics like clothing, accessories, and other details that tend to drift between generations.

Generate your reference sheets through the visual node. This captures your character from all the key angles needed for rock-solid consistency.

Drop in a location reference image and run the video node, powered by Kling Omni. Your character shows up in the scene looking exactly the way you designed them.

The best part? Once your reference sheets exist, they’re yours to reuse whenever you want. New scenes, new locations, same character every time.

Where this Spaces template fits best

Filmmakers will get the most out of this workflow. When you’re crafting a narrative, consistency is not negotiable. Your audience needs to believe in your characters, and that means they need to look the same from the opening frame to the closing one. This template handles that without piling on extra manual work.

Content creators will also find plenty of value here. Imagine having a set of characters you can place in any situation, any environment, any story you want to tell. Reference sheets give you a visual identity that holds up across every project.

And for beginners, this is an approachable way to learn how Spaces works. The workflow walks you through each step, so you spend your time experimenting and creating instead of wrestling with the technical side. You’ll pick up how reference sheets function, how to layer visual elements together, and how to produce polished video output. All by actually doing it.

Try it yourself

Keeping your characters consistent shouldn’t feel like a chore, and with this template, it doesn’t. Take it for a spin and see how reference sheets change the way you approach AI filmmaking.

You’ve probably seen those videos where someone dances next to a cartoon version of themselves. Looks fun, right? But making one can feel out of reach. This Spaces template lets you produce your own animated twin from a single image and a clip of your dance moves. All with smooth, consistent results every time.

Maria Pratt, better known as Glamseasons, is a content creator whose AI-generated videos have gone viral. She’s also a Magnific AI Partner, and she put this workflow together so anyone can create fun, personality-driven visuals without dealing with animation tools or technical setups. Maybe you want to make social media clips, play around with AI-powered animation, or just see what your cartoon self looks like in motion. Whatever the case, this template walks you through the whole thing step by step.

Creating your dancing 3D cartoon twin with Spaces

Getting your animated twin up and running is easier than you’d expect. This workflow takes you from raw references to a fully animated 3D cartoon version of yourself in just a few steps.

It all starts with the right inputs. From there, it’s all about creativity:

Drop in a photo of yourself and a clip of your dance moves in the media nodes. You can use something from your gallery or any of your AI creations. A clear, well-lit picture will give you the best results.

Run the template and let it handle the rest. Your 3D cartoon twin will follow every movement from your reference video, frame by frame, no matter the angle.

Open up the prompt nodes and play with different results. Change the style, switch up the theme, and see where your imagination takes you.

The visual consistency stays locked across every creation, so your twin always looks like your twin, no matter how many times you remix it.

Where this Spaces template fits best

If you create content for social media, this template is a goldmine. A 3D cartoon twin dancing alongside the real you is the kind of thing that stops people mid-scroll. It’s fun, it’s unexpected, and it gives your audience something they haven’t seen a hundred times already.

And it’s not just for Internet creators. If you work in motion design or animation, you’ll find it pretty handy too. This Spaces template helps you design a custom package, add a unique background illustration, and turn it into a full set of AI-powered visuals.
This workflow, designed by Gizem Akdag, Creative Director, Visual Artist, and a Magnific Partner, is built for creators, designers, and small business owners who need cohesive packaging visuals without starting from scratch every time. Whether you’re launching a product, building a brand identity, or creating content for social media, this template keeps your visuals unified across every format.

Building consistent packaging visuals with Spaces

A strong product presence starts with a solid visual foundation. This workflow makes it easy to go from a single package design to a complete set of brand-ready assets.

Get all the angles you need to create a complete visual set using only one package design. Just follow these steps:

Design your custom package in the prompt box, describing your product and the visual direction you’re aiming for.

Upload your background illustration to give your product personality and make it stand out at a glance.

Run the photoshoot workflow to create AI-powered product images ready for social media, branding decks, and mockups.

Each step is designed to maintain coherence across your assets, so your brand always looks like it belongs together.

When you need a consistent character across multiple shots, the fastest solution might already be in your image library. This Spaces template helps you build out a complete visual profile of your character from a single image.

Created by Rourke, Creative AI Educator and Magnific Partner, this workflow supports creators working in visual storytelling, AI filmmaking, and concept design. No matter if you’re designing a short film, testing a digital actor, or previsualizing scenes, this template helps you see your character from every angle.

Creating a complete character sheet with Spaces

Building consistency across scenes starts with a solid character reference. This workflow makes it easy to expand a single image into a full character sheet.

Here’s how it works:

Add the image of your character, using a photo or an AI-generated one. Try to use images where the contrast of your character with the background is strong to make the following step easier.

Run the workflow to isolate the character on a white background.

Replace the image placeholders in the template with your isolated visual.

Run each section of the workflow to generate new views, angles, and details.

Each step is designed to maintain consistency, giving your character a complete visual range from a single source.

Where this Spaces template fits best

This workflow is ideal for filmmakers, AI storytellers, and content creators who want fast visual iterations without having to restart from scratch. It’s also a great tool for casting virtual characters before production begins.

By letting you test how a character performs visually across multiple perspectives, this template supports smoother storytelling and more intentional design choices.

Try it yourself

Rourke’s approach is all about clarity, speed, and creative control. With this template, you can cast your character, explore their look in detail, and build a visual story with confidence.

Gabriela C. Walther, a Magnific AI partner, is a Mexican mixed-media artist based between Tijuana and San Diego. Her practice blends photography, filmmaking, and AI to explore memory, identity, and imagined worlds. During a recent trip to Seoul and Busan, she found inspiration in winter flowers blooming among fallen leaves and in ceramic works that felt both fragile and enduring. That contrast served as a starting point for her Spaces template, Try new materials, a place to explore what might emerge when images are treated as raw material rather than outcomes.

Try new materials

Images often hold more possibilities than what’s visible at first glance. This workflow creates space to explore those possibilities by working slowly, responding to material qualities, and following your intuition:

Add your photographs as the starting point for exploration. Images with clear subjects, natural textures, or intense light and shadow work best, as they give the workflow more visual detail to respond to.

Describe the material you want to work with. Ceramic is the default starting point, inspired by Gabriela’s original exploration, but you can guide the results by describing another material. Being specific about qualities like surface, finish, or fragility helps shape how textures and forms evolve.

Run the workflow to see how new visual directions emerge from your input.

Adjust or branch the workflow whenever something stands out and invites further exploration.

The process remains flexible throughout, leaving space for observation and experimentation.

Where this Spaces template fits best

Try new materials is the perfect choice for art directors, designers, and artists looking for a creative boost or a way through a block. It also works well for anyone who wants to explore ideas visually without pressure, timelines, or predefined outcomes.

By focusing on experimentation and material exploration, this Spaces template encourages deeper engagement with images and supports a more reflective creative process.

Try it yourself

Sometimes the most interesting ideas appear when you slow down and stay with an image. Designed as an open studio, this workflow invites you to revisit photographs, test materials, and follow what naturally stands out.

Ohneis is a Magnific AI partner who has worked with brands and teams around the world, helping them produce visual content for social and advertising. Through that experience, he repeatedly saw the same challenge: creating strong social content consistently is hard. Staying visible means publishing often, but producing visuals that look good and stay consistent takes time.

His Spaces template, Create sport brand visuals, was built as a simple starting point where reference photos become a steady flow of images and videos you can use for social posts and ads.

Building a steady flow of brand visuals

The workflow is designed to keep content creation visually coherent and easy to repeat in a few steps:

Upload your product image, such as a shoe, apparel item, or any product you want to promote. For best results, use a clear image with good lighting, a solid or neutral background, and the product centered so details and shapes are easy to read.

Add a few reference photos that show the kind of environment and visual context where the product will be presented. These images act as a visual board to guide style, mood, and composition.

Run the workflow to automatically generate a range of images and videos that follow the same visual language.

This template also includes ready-to-use ad concepts in different styles, which you can download directly or adapt to fit your brand.

Where “Create sport brand visuals” adds the most value

Ohneis’ template is handy in workflows where brands need to stay visible and consistent without rebuilding content from scratch every time, like in these cases:

Social media content for brands: it’s an excellent option for teams managing Instagram, TikTok, or other social channels that require a steady flow of posts. The workflow helps generate multiple visuals from the same references, making it easier to keep a coherent look while publishing frequently.

Paid ads and product promotion: it’s helpful in creating image and video assets for ads without running a complete production cycle. The built-in ad concepts can be used directly or adapted to test different styles and messages.

Small teams and solo founders: it’s designed for situations where time and resources are limited. The Space provides a repeatable method for producing brand visuals quickly, eliminating the need for complex setups or external tools.

Content experimentation and iteration: helpful when exploring different visual directions before making a commitment. Teams can test variations, compare styles, and decide which direction works best before pushing content live.

Try it yourself

The Create sport brand visuals Spaces template offers a repeatable way to produce social-ready images and videos using references you already have. The workflow is designed to reduce friction, save time, and help brands stay visible with consistent content.

As an educator and content creator in the AI arena, he built Create consistent sequential scenes Spaces template to help creators explore how an idea could evolve. This template suggests possible next creative steps, without locking the process into a single path.

A simple flow for early ideation

This Spaces template supports artistic exploration at the moment when direction is still forming. It uses linked scenes to give you something concrete to react to.

Write one prompt to define the opening moment.

Click Run from here to automatically generate connected sequences showing how the idea could evolve.

Change course at any step by editing or branching the sequence.

When to use this Spaces template

This space is designed for creative workflows where exploration matters more than final output. It supports different use cases where ideas need room to evolve before decisions are made:

For storytellers and writers, it helps visualize how a narrative could progress from one moment to the next, making it easier to test pacing, structure, or alternative story paths.

For marketers and strategists, it offers a way to explore how a campaign idea might develop across multiple scenes or messages before committing to a single direction.

For content creators, this template makes it possible to quickly test concepts, explore variations, and decide which direction feels most promising before investing time in production.

Try it yourself

Create consistent sequential scenes helps you explore ideas through connected sequences, focusing on progression rather than a fixed outcome. The open structure lets you decide where to take things next.

Paige Piskin is a leading creator in AR, XR, and AI, known for visuals with texture, character, and a lived-in aesthetic. Her Space, Create winter visuals, adapts that style into a simple workflow for generating expressive winter-fashion portraits.

How the AI winter portrait photo workflow works

This Space is built to make winter concepts quick to explore. The flow starts with three simple inputs:

A selfie that is well-lit, with the face centered and a simple background so the node can read the structure accurately.

An outfit photo captured from the front, with clear lighting and visible textures to help define the clothing in the final portrait.

A few scenery cues that describe the winter mood you want, or a background reference image if you prefer to guide the scene more directly.

With these elements, the Space constructs a winter scene that feels natural and cohesive. Once everything is in place, it generates several variations in seconds. Each variation uses a slightly different prompting style, shifting the portrait toward an editorial look or a more raw, natural tone.

This flexibility makes the workflow easy to reuse. You can test new outfits, update the subject, or adjust the scenery without rebuilding the entire setup.

Where this Space fits best

This Space is designed for anyone shaping winter fashion content. Creators can test styling ideas early, influencers can preview looks before recording, and brands can sketch out seasonal directions without a full photoshoot. It also offers an easy way to see how prompt choices affect realism, lighting, and mood.

Try it yourself

Create winter visuals blends Paige’s textured, character-driven style with a workflow anyone can use. It is a simple starting point for exploring winter looks, adjusting ideas, or building consistent seasonal portraits.

Try Create winter visuals and explore your own winter look.

Adulting isn’t always fancy, but it’s endlessly inspiring. Trapped amid mounting responsibilities and tightening schedules, sometimes we forget the simple joys tucked away in the everyday. Art has a way of reminding us of the beauty in the mundane, even in our little awkward moments, so today, we’re shining a spotlight on an illustrator who does just that―our latest featured artist, Rocío Diestra.

Rocío’s illustrations capture the essence of grown-up life with a disarming simplicity. Her linear style and soft palette create a sense of calm and familiarity, inviting us to savor the little moments that often slip through our fingers. So pause, breathe, and rediscover the magic of everyday life through Rocío’s whimsical world through the exclusive collection she created for Magnific.

Illustrating human essence

Life’s got its twists and turns, and for Rocío Diestra, it meant swapping the rigidity of blueprints for the freedom of line illustration. During the pandemic, and after snagging her first clients through her social media posts, she made the bold decision to pursue illustration as a way of life.

Rocío’s artistic spark ignited with a flame of defiance, fueled by frustration and indignation, and using humor as a shield. But as her art matured, so did her perspective: “I’ve adopted a more reflective and unbiased approach, addressing comprehensive topics like relationships, emotional connections, and mental health.”

Now, her comics are like windows into our own lives, capturing portraits of everyday moments. Through storytelling illustrations, Rocío brings to life the simple yet profound experiences that shape our identity. These tales are often linked to her own experiences. For example, as she relates, “Since I have moved from Lima to Barcelona, I delve into migration experiences and being away from your family.”

Art through Rocío Diestra eyes

Rocío’s art style feels like a warm hug on a rainy day―a pleasing blend of realism and stylization, sprinkled with what she describes as “a bit cartoonish.” It’s this unique mix that showcases her talent for crafting expressive characters with just a few carefully selected lines: “I aim for realistic proportions in my characters, always with a degree of stylization to preserve the naive character with which I started drawing.”

In her linear illustrations, Rocío brings in a pop of color, sticking to a palette that features a dominant and a secondary hue. Inspired by Adrian Tomine and R. Kikuo Johnson, Rocío Diestra gracefully navigates the balance between complexity and simplicity. She poses two simple questions before picking up her pencil: “What do I want to communicate?” and “How can I best communicate it easily?” This approach allows her to convey complex ideas with minimal cartoons, and Rocío finds pure joy in distilling her illustrations: “When a simple drawing conveys a lot, that’s when it is best achieved.”

Growing up stories: everyday life in lines

In her Magnific collection, Rocío displays a series of day-to-day situations that connect with those who live independently. She draws straight from her own experiences and imagination, adding that personal touch that makes each piece feel so real and relatable.

These lovely illustrations exhibit all the amusing and heartwarming things that can happen when you live on your own. Because while we experience awesome moments, like painting furniture or enjoying a relaxing bath, let’s be real― living alone also comes with its “fail situations”, like burning dinner or forgetting to water your plants. Rocío Diestra gets it all, embracing these moments too as part of the whole adventure: “The ideas for the situations came very quickly to me; I just had to illustrate things that were happening to me or that -very optimistically- I imagined could happen to me.”

To make her pictures extra cool, she uses three main colors and soft, pastel shades. This makes everything look cheerful and put-together, making it nearly impossible for us to take our eyes off them.

If you live alone (or even if you don’t), these cute illustrations are bound to make you smile and resonate with your own experiences. Discover Rocío Diestra’s exclusive collection, only available at Magnific, and remember: no matter what, you’ll never be alone!

Once again, we’d like to thank everyone that submitted their client-rejected work to be resurrected by Magnific. The contest and campaign were a great success, and it was all thanks to YOU!

Since Rob Wapaño won the Jury’s Choice Prize, we asked him to create a unique collection for Magnific as a Featured Artist. But before we show you his fabulous creations, let’s meet Rob and get to know him better.

Magnific: Hi Rob, please tell us a bit about yourself.

Rob: Hello, I am Rob Wapaño, a Graphic Designer/Illustrator with almost a decade of experience. I’ve worked at a creative agency for three years and a fast-growing tech startup for nearly two years. My design expertise includes social media graphics, diverse digital illustrations, whitepapers, infographics, brand visual development, iconography, and related visual design matters. Much of my influence in design comes from the esoteric, the occult, and mysteries of the old world.

Magnific: What is the origin and rejection story of your client-killed illustration, Age of Strife?

Rob: I once took a job from a contract-work platform to create an illustration for a technology company’s landing page hero section. Initially, the client liked my illustration style, but later they wanted something more “modern and corporate.” The project managers loved my pencil draft, but the higher-ups found it too juvenile and colorful, requesting a more “professional and minimal” approach. Sadly, the situation escalated, and they eventually sought another illustrator for a new iteration.

Despite this setback, I was paid for my work. However, it was disheartening to see the illustration not make it to the final version after investing so much time and effort. Ultimately, I kept the illustration for my portfolio and named it “Age of Strife,” as it was a challenging period in my career.

Magnific: Was their final design very different from what you presented?

Rob: Honestly, I never really checked up on that company after the job. I felt like I wanted to dissociate myself from that contract. But a couple of months later, I checked on their website. It amused me that they took a whole different approach on their landing. There were no illustrations, just text and copy with a bit of gradient to make them look like their design direction is part of the trend. The landing page looked exactly like any other website in the past year.

Magnific: Do you have any tips on overcoming rejection to share with fellow designers?

Rob: Throughout my career as a graphic designer and illustrator, one principle has remained close to my heart: “Learn the rules, master the rules, then break them.” I firmly believe that, after years of honing our craft, it becomes essential to develop our unique style as designers or illustrators. While anyone can utilize standard tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, it is the creator’s individual taste and vision that employers or clients seek.

Focusing on a particular style is crucial, in my view. We should strive to perfect and refine the style we’ve cultivated while also remaining adaptable and versatile enough to explore other artistic approaches. In my honest opinion, this flexibility is the true measure of greatness for a graphic designer, illustrator, or creative.

Magnific: How would you describe your work and style?

Rob: In my design philosophy, I firmly believe that “nothing is truly original.” Every creative endeavor, whether it’s a design, artwork, or illustration, is inevitably influenced by the work of others. Living in this contemporary era, where design trends often dictate what’s deemed acceptable (or marketable), I find it absurd. Instead, I place great importance on establishing a genuine connection between the client and the designer. The process can sometimes feel like a playful dance with the client or employer, trying to find the best direction for the project.

When taking on a new project, I immerse myself in studying and researching its nature. Armed with this understanding, I propose a specific visual direction to the client. While they may not always agree with my vision, I’m not afraid to defend my ideas.

My style is centered around abstract, surrealist, geometric, and modern art deco elements, and I take pride in infusing these influences into my work.

Magnific: Tell us about your experience as a Magnific contributor.

Rob: Recently, I began my journey as a contributor for Magnific, and within just a few months, I’ve uploaded a handful of assets to my collection. However, my vision extends far beyond this modest start. In the future, I am determined to expand my portfolio significantly by adding more illustrations, icons, and templates that cater to various use cases in both print and digital media.

Magnific by Rob Wapaño

Now it’s time to share the collection Rob curated specially for Magnific as part of his prize for winning the Jury’s Choice during #UndeadIdeas. To see the entire collection and download the pieces, visit the collection page on the Magnific website

Magnific: Please tell us about your new collection, “Magnific by Rob Wapaño.”

Rob: Within my Magnific collection, I’ve thoughtfully curated a series of artworks that delve into the profound allegories and mysteries of our reality. These pieces convey messages of hope, birth, death, grief, acceptance, and the comforting presence of a benevolent eye watching over, all depicted through my unique perspective. The abstract lines gracefully intertwine throughout the illustrations, symbolizing the subtle interconnectedness that binds all living beings and inanimate objects.

To elevate the visual impact, I’ve skillfully applied a faded gradient effect to select shapes, infusing the artwork with depth and texture. This deliberate artistic touch enhances the overall experience, inviting viewers to delve deeper into the mesmerizing world of each illustration and contemplate the rich symbolism that unfolds before their eyes.

Magnific: How do you imagine the designs in your collection being used?

Rob: The illustrations are versatile, finding their perfect roles as evocative posters for creative events or captivating web illustrations tailored to suit the essence of each website. My intention behind creating these artworks is to go beyond aesthetics – I aspire to instigate contemplation and ignite curiosity in viewers. Delving into the metaphorical realms of our shared human experience, these pieces are meant to strike a profound chord within individuals, inviting them on a meaningful journey of introspection and exploration.

Magnific: We love your collection and can’t wait to see what’s coming next from you. Please share where people can follow your work and upcoming projects.

People can follow me on Dribbble, Instagram and my website.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to share my work and philosophy. It has been a privilege to have been chosen for this. I am very grateful!

Magnific: Thank you, Rob! We look forward to seeing what new designs you add to your contributor page.
